Wow, kids getting nice things!?
I have friends that are getting things left and right. 2 of my friends have Camaros, and another two have Mustangs. A bunch of them have trucks. They are all nice cars, too. They were all given to them by their parents. Now usually I wouldn’t be bothered by this, but I will have to work to get a car. I’m going to have to save up for months or years to get something that is WORSE than what they were given! It’s just not fair. I wouldn’t be jealous about this normally, but I really want a car and I hate seeing them get free things. One of my friends also got a very expensive gaming PC. I know my parents are trying to teach me a lesson, but is it worth it in the end? Is it normal to be jealous in this situation?
Ahh but wont you appreciate & enjoy your car so much more. When we EARN what we want we respect the effort & take much better care. I see those stangs & Camaros doing burnouts & hooning already, However when its YOUR money buying it, maintaining it & repairing it Im sure both you & your car will be in much SAFER hands.
Save a thought for my son, he WISHES he could buy his 1st car but were insisting on him & Dad rebuilding our 1976 Toyota Corolla wagon. 1st learn how it works , then learn how to drive it, if you break it you fix it. Now I know hell be safe , its 99% steel & with a 14oo motor wont be reaching any speeds he wont be able to handle.

Yes its normal to be jealous & the lesson your parents are teaching is a worthy one. Will you want Mummy & Daddy paying your way through life or would you like some self respect & achievement on your own?
One day when Mummy & Daddys money runs out a few of your mates are going to have reality bite them on the bum real hard. Better to learn now
